Happy 2008 everyone!

Sorry, again, for the paucity of posts but it's been crazy mad busy around the Ferry household for the past month and I'm just now sitting down for what seems like the first time since Thanksgiving.



Let's start the post with some good news. My brother, Seth, and his girlfriend, Sarah, got engaged on New Year's Eve! Hip hip hooray! I've seen a cell phone photo of the ring and it's lovely (if a bit blurry -- I have a lousy phone-camera). No word on the date yet, but we're all very happy.



Miss May turns two on Monday, but don't tell her that. We've moved her birthday party to the 19th, to save us some headaches. We'll mark Monday with a low-key dinner and save all the hooplah for a few weeks hence, once she's calmed down from the holidays.



The holidays were lovely, if frantically busy. We enjoyed seeing everyone and May loved all of her presents. Everyone was very kind and generous.

May has learned all kinds of new things in the past month and I promise I'll detail them them more later. Right now, though, I've got to finish up some Christmas presents! Be well and have a happy new year, everyone.
