The mystery of the oogly, solved... perhaps!
Those with memories like elephants may recall that one of May's first words was "Oogly." We had no idea what it meant but she used it deliberately and often.
Today I was feeding her yogurt and said, in that inane voice all mothers use, "Can you say 'yogurt'?"
And she said "oogly."
They don't sound alike to me, but hey, who am I to complain about a girl who can spot a cap across the street and shout "Red Sox!"?
Also, a note: May has her first trike! Grandmas Cathy and Pat and the Leblancs all kicked in for a Radio Flier trike with a steering handle and sun canopy and everything! May rode it about halfway to Starbucks this morning, then got off and pushed it the rest of the way. We also got to spend time yesterday with the Great Grandparents Murray and the Nielsen family (plus Sarah and Kevin, who are honorary Nielsens). May is very tired from her big day and we're hoping to get her sleeping patterns back into synch over the next week or so.

Christopher goes to see the doctor tomorrow morning to get his shoulder checked again, and a new "prescription" for physical therapy. He's been commenting that the stuff he's doing now only hurts a little bit. So clearly he needs to be doing more.
That's all the news there is to tell right now. We're hoping the heat breaks tonight so that we can spend more time outside.
