Oh what a week we had!

Hello, all!

May had a very busy week.

Monday she played with Max in the morning, including running down the bike path holding hands.

Tuesday we went on an adventure with Auntie Nikki. We took the bus (the 88, she wants me to point out, not the 90), then walked to Union Square! We had tea and chocolate croissants at Bloc 11 and then went to Capone's and bought duck sausage.

Wednesday was our playgroup, but Elijah's daddy came instead of his mommy! And everyone went out to the playground instead of staying in! The day wrapped-up with a bath.

Thursday, we did a whole lot. Auntie Nikki had forgotten her ticket to the Neil Gaiman appearance in NYC and we had to go find them in her apartment and then overnight them to NYC. THEN, we went to the park to play with Tommy and his mommy. THEN, Daddy came to visit us at the park and we went to get free burritos at Chipotle, with pretty much everyone else in Somerville. May ate the vegetarian burritos because she loves guacamole so much.

Friday, we went and had coffee with Auntie Jenna before she went to BU to give a guest lecture on Ibsen.

Saturday, we went to Supreme Kitchen for breakfast in the morning and went grocery shopping in the afternoon.

Sunday, May rode her tricycle to Starbucks and back before we went out to Home Depot to buy some plants. In the afternoon we met Uncle Denis and Auntie Mary for dinner at Mr. Crepe.

May's New School

Amanda, May, and I visited the Drumlin Farm pre-school this afternoon. They are about to move the pre-school to a new location. Instead of sharing the community room in the main lodge with all the other programs, the pre-school will have its own dedicated space. The house used to belong to one of the farm caretakers and is in the process of being renovated, but should be ready for May's first day in September.

The garage is going to be converted to a 'wet' science lab, where our budding evil-genius can begin experimenting with mud, water, and tadpoles!

There is also a small garden.

May really seemed to like running through the fields with the other kids and parents.
