The Snow Queen commands you!

Just one photo to keep you all satisfied until we put up the others. (Everyone say "Thank you, Jen!")
May had a lovely Halloween, with much more candy then we'd intended. She enjoyed it a very much, especially the bit about walking up to strangers, saying this magic phrase, and then they gave her something! That was neat, she thought.
She also enjoyed the costume, which had "fur" trim and a big swirly skirt for spinning. If someone assumed she was a princess (or an angel), she would respond, "No, I'm a queen. Queens are in charge of princesses!" This got a couple of princesses to pause and rethink their costumes, I can tell you.
We went down to Cider Day on Saturday after Halloween and May also loved that. Seh ran in an orchard, tried kombucha for the first time, learned about apple and honey wine, ate a lot of apples, and then we all went to the People's Pint for dinner. We love the People's Pint.
Yesterday, May and Mommy and Daddy all went to vote. We stood in line for a very long time, which gave us the time to explain (over and over and over) what voting meant and why we were doing it and how Senators Obama and McCain were different from Duck. (Duck for President was her favorite book for a few weeks.) Though she really got into saying "It's election day!" and wearing the sticker, in the end, she was more excited about getting to go into the firehouse than anything else. That's all for now. We'll upload the other Halloween photos soon.
