With less than a week to go

Mommy has not yet run out of gnome family members to make!

(Though suggestions on what to make for the last big Christmas Eve present would be welcome!)

And this is Edda, another Grandmother gnome.

This is Pele, Agni's sister.

This is Momma Kari's sister, Bryndis. She the witch of the clan. The little girl is her apprentice, named Arvid.

May says Happy Solstice to everyone and can't wait to see you all soon!

My mommy made for me....

May says hello to everyone! We just got back from errands and there were a few brief moments of sunlight, so we snapped some photos of her latest Advent calendar creatures. (May helped a little -- she set up the gnomes and fairies. Then she got bored and went to play with Play Doh.)

This is Agni, a Fire Flower Fairy. May and Agni may Fire Flower Soup together. (Mommy is working hard on coming up with a recipe for that.) Daddy named Agni, because he remembered that agni is the Hindu god of fire and the Sanskrit word for fire.

And this is a snowflake fairy. She doesn't have a name yet.

This is Grampy Gnome, Bjorn, and his grandson, Sven. Sven has a very tall hat and is the twin brother of Brigit, the baby gnome girl in the previous post.

The famous pretty pink dress

Not be confused with your famous blue raincoat.

Here are just two of the fabulous photos of May as a flower girl at my brother's wedding a couple weeks ago. My new sister in law (I have two, now!) has created a site which will fill up with all the photos that everyone took. You can click it now and bookmark it to visit again and again and again. And check out the wedding photos, too. Seth and Sarah are a disgustingly beautiful couple.

Sarah will be getting lots more photos from her professional photog soon and I'll add some of those, too.

We're all well here, up in Boston, polishing off the last of the turkey and stuffing finally. May's been loving her advent calendar. Since tonight is the 3d, she's got three little toys so far -- Mommy's sewing as fast as her little fingers can fly. (I frankly forgot about the advent calendar until Sunday night. Oops.)

Here are photos of the little treats she's finding in the advent calendar. And one of May herself being silly.

Hope everyone is doing well. We just got a phone call that Grandma Pat got into a car accident today and that she's doing well, if a little shook up. Everyone send your thoughts and wishes her way -- we certainly are.
